President Moon Jae-in and Mrs. Kim Jeong-suk chose the place of residence for their retirement at Pyeongsan Village near Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan, Gyeongnam.

President Moon and his wife bought five parcels of land, 2,630 square meters, in April, under the common name, for the amount of money they collected.

The construction cost is covered by selling the current home in Maegok-dong, Yangsan.

The President's Office of Security also secured a budget of 400 million won of security facilities under a separate budget in accordance with the Act on the Preliminary Presidential Courtesy.
