Rostrud reminded the Russians of two shortened weeks in June. So, the next working week will be shorter in connection with the celebration of the Day of Russia on June 12. Another non-working day will fall on June 24 because of the Victory Parade.

“A shortened working week from June 8 to 11 and a long weekend await the Russians in connection with the celebration of Russia Day on June 12. The length of the working day on June 11 is reduced by one hour due to the fact that it is pre-holiday, ”the Rostrud report quoted by TASS said.

The department indicated that June 24 was declared a non-working day with salary remaining in accordance with the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Taking into account the day off, the working days of that week will be the intervals from June 22 to 23 and from June 25 to 26.

“The announcement of a non-working day is not reflected in the amount of wages, the monthly salary of employees is not reduced,” the department reminded.

It is also reported that employees whose work is paid separately, for the specified non-working day, are paid appropriate remuneration, determined by the local regulatory act of the employer.

“Since June 24 is a non-working day with preservation of wages, June 23 is not considered pre-holiday, and its duration is not reduced by an hour,” the department added.

Recall that Vladimir Putin signed a decree on May 29 to hold the Victory Day parade on June 24. The document states that military parades will be held on this day, including on Red Square, as well as fireworks to mark the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II.

According to the decree, parades and fireworks are “a sign of gratitude of descendants to the victors of the fascist invaders” and “a tribute to deep respect for the great feat, heroism and dedication of war veterans”.

Earlier, Putin held a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at which the head of state ordered preparations to begin for the June 24 parade.

Recall that the Victory parades in 2020 were postponed from the traditional date of May 9 to a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since the end of March, Russia has had a number of restrictions that are designed to prevent the spread of infection among the population.

Against the backdrop of this situation, the country's leadership decided to abandon most of the events dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Nevertheless, on May 9, an air parade was held in the capital, in which 75 aircraft of the Russian Armed Forces took part.

Constitution Day Amendment Day

Recall that before July 1, Russia declared a day off in connection with the voting on amendments to the Constitution. Vladimir Putin signed the corresponding decree on June 1. Initially, it was assumed that the vote will be held on April 22, but the date was postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Soon Rospotrebnadzor made recommendations on the organization of voting. The department called for the introduction of temperature control among all the people involved in the procedure.

This applies to members of the precinct commission, as well as observers and representatives of the media located in the polling place.

Rospotrebnadzor pointed out that it is also necessary to carry out temperature control "for all voting participants and other persons on the way to the place of voting."

In addition, the agency said that in the polling station it is necessary to maintain a social distance and, if possible, be in it for no more than 15 minutes. During the voting and when counting votes, one member of the precinct commission must be at the same table, the instructions also say.

Subsequently, the head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, said that during the preparation all the necessary measures would be taken so that there would be no risks to the health of citizens during the vote on amendments to the Constitution of Russia.

“I can say with confidence that on the day of the all-Russian vote, on the days preceding it, all the necessary requirements, all necessary measures will be fulfilled,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

The head of the CEC noted that the main priorities are the health and life of Russian citizens. The department “laid emphasis on exactly this,” Pamfilova emphasized.
