In a new precedent, more than 60,000 people gathered in the birthplace of George Floyd in Houston, an African American citizen who was killed by a policeman in the city of Minneapolis, including a group of black men and women, on horseback, in a challenge to US President Donald Trump.

The footage posted on Twitter, which many Texas residents celebrated on social media, showed African-American horsemen and women lifting one fist in the air and riding with the crowd, while other aerial footage showed the massive crowds moving through the streets of Houston, With banners and hesitations, "Life of Blacks is Important".

Protests widened in the United States over Floyd's death following violent police intervention in Minneapolis, Minnesota, prompting authorities to impose curfews in several cities, and President Donald Trump condemned the riots, calling for "reconciliation not hate, justice, not chaos."
