  According to reports, Koja said he held a telephone conversation with Russian Health Minister Murashko. During the talks, the two sides reached agreement on the cooperation between experts from the two countries to develop new coronavirus vaccines and therapeutic drugs.

  Koca told the media that "22 Turkish universities are developing new coronavirus vaccines, 4 of which have already begun animal trials." He also said, "It is not enough to conduct clinical trials in one country. Russia is also developing vaccines, so , We agreed to cooperate and conduct cross-clinical trials."

  Koca added that researchers from Turkey and Russia will hold a video conference on June 4 to discuss related issues such as further cooperation in vaccine research and development.
