The United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt held today the meeting of the fourth session of the Political Consultation Committee between the two countries at the level of senior officials.
In a statement on the work of the Political Consultation Committee, the two sides affirmed the strength and strength of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the process of political coordination between them.
During the meeting, consultations and exchanges of views took place on issues and topics of common concern in addition to the current developments taking place in the region and the world, including the repercussions of the Corona pandemic emerging.
The UAE and Egypt noted the importance of exchanging the experiences and experiences of the two countries in the field of applying the distance education system and the food security system and health and medical procedures in dealing with this pandemic and addressing it.
The two sides exchanged views on the most important regional and international developments as consultations between them resulted in a consensus on many issues and crises that the region is going through.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing the mechanism of coordination and political consultation between them, considering that this supports common interests and goals and unites efforts to face the challenges facing the two parties.
The convening of this session at the level of senior officials comes within the framework of preparing for the convening of the committee at the ministerial level and the keenness of both sides to enhance these relations and push them to broader horizons.
