The Tunisian House of Representatives dropped the draft list submitted by the Free Constitutional Party bloc, stipulating what it called the parliament’s refusal to interfere in Libya and its opposition to forming a logistical base on Tunisian soil, after the majority of the blocs rejected what came in the content of the list, which it described as lining up with countries at the expense of other countries .

Saif Al-Din Makhlouf, a member of the Al-Karama coalition, said in his parliamentary intervention that "the Free Constitutional President deleted her condemnation of the state of Turkey from the list, but she deliberately included what was mentioned in the first point of the Arab Parliament’s decision issued in Cairo on January 15 last, which condemns What he describes as Turkish interference in Libya in exchange for his silence on other foreign interventions.

The rejectionist blocs justified its position that the Free Constitutional List that it submitted expresses an open and flawed lineup of the Tunisian parliament with foreign countries in Libya, after they are satisfied with condemning certain countries in exchange for their silence on other countries.

On Wednesday, the Tunisian Parliament held a plenary session of the dialogue on parliamentary diplomacy, related to the position expressed by Council Speaker Rashid Ghannouchi, after his congratulations to Fayez al-Sarraj, the head of the Libyan government of reconciliation, Fayez al-Sarraj.

A blatant interference in Libyan affairs

Osama al-Saghir, a member of the Renaissance movement, described in his speech to Al-Jazeera Net the free constitutional list the scandal, and that it violates national sovereignty and includes blatant interference in the Libyan internal affairs.

Al-Saghir was surprised at the timing of presenting the list to parliament following the successive defeats of Haftar's forces in Libya, and behind him foreign countries supporting him with money, weapons and aircraft, accusing the constitutional party of trying to save the face of the UAE alliance in Libya by passing this list in the Tunisian parliament.

The Heart of Tunisia party had previously announced by its leader, Osama Al-Khulaifi, its rejection of the wording contained in the Free Constitutional Regulation regarding foreign interference in Libya, in order to avoid aligning itself with countries against another as a condition to support this regulation.

The representative of the Democratic Bloc Nabil Al-Hajji said - in a statement to Al-Jazeera Net - that the Free Constitutional Regulation, in its first formulation, included a blatant violation of the Tunisian parliament regarding the axes policy in Libya, because of its content, which accuses countries of interfering in it and intentionally silent on other countries.

He stressed that his party's position in Parliament is identical to the official Tunisian position on the Libyan file, which is biased towards international legitimacy, and calls for a Libyan Libyan solution and the absence of any foreign party in the conflict.

Exposed timing

The deputy of Al-Karama coalition, Yusri Al-Dali, considered the timing of the constitutional free display of the list as an "open timing" that serves the forces of Haftar, and behind him the countries that support him, after a series of military defeats to which he is exposed, perhaps the most recent of which is Al-Wefaq forces controlling Tripoli airport completely.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, Al-Dali described what the bloc had done as a blatant interference in the powers of the President of the Republic, the first responsible for defining the nature of Tunisian diplomacy with the Libyan file.

It is noteworthy that the fall of the Free Constitutional List regarding the condemnation of Turkish military intervention in Libya coincides with the success of the reconciliation forces in completely controlling Tripoli airport and liberating it from the control of Haftar's forces.
