“President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Roman Golovchenko as prime minister, who until now has served as chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee,” the statement said.

On the eve of Lukashenko signed a decree on the resignation of the current government led by Sergei Rumas. 

The President of Belarus also stated that there would be no revolution with a change in the composition of the government of the republic.
