Invasive species are plants and animals that do not belong to our nature and that cause various problems. Some species, such as park slides, can destroy buildings and others, such as the giant bear cub, have plant juice that can cause wounds to the skin. But above all, the problem is that invasive species displace native species in the warmland nature.

- We in Värmland are in a climate zone that slows down these warm species but continues the warming that has been going on for the last 10-20 years, so these problems will increase. It doesn't feel good, says conservationist Dan Mangsbo.

The County Administrative Board in Värmland is currently focusing on two of the species that we hope to eradicate.

Hear Dan Mangsbo tell us more about it in the clip above.
