RT posted a post on Facebook with a video on how the construction of an infectious diseases hospital is underway in Ufa due to the situation with coronavirus infection.

Later, the channel’s message was marked as invalid.

Fatabyyano is a Facebook fact checker for content from the Middle East and North Africa and is not related to Germany. At the same time, in support of the "unreliability" of the post, a link was provided about the fakes concerning the French leader Emmanuel Macron.

After the factcheckers did not respond to RT Deutsch on time, the channel turned directly to Facebook, which forwarded Fatabyyano's message.

The fact checkers noted that a “technical error” had occurred, and also stated that they did not verify German content.

According to RT Deutsch, this chronologically happened after the statement that the TV channel was the fifth on Facebook among the German-speaking media in Germany for watching video in March.

After the “fact check” of Fatabyyano in May, a decrease in Facebook traffic was recorded. The channel notes this is not the first such incident.

Currently, the tag for an "unreliable" post has been removed.

Earlier, Facebook deleted the post of the In the Now project, which talked about the killed IRG General Kassem Suleymani.
