The updated data on the spread of Coronavirus in Italy provided by the Civil Protection.

The total number of people who contracted the virus was 234,013, an increase of 177 new cases compared to yesterday.

The total number of currently positive is 38,429, with a decrease of 868 clients compared to yesterday.

Among the currently positive, 338 are being treated in intensive care, with a decrease of 15 patients compared to yesterday.

5,503 people are hospitalized with symptoms, a decrease of 239 patients compared to yesterday.

32,588 people, equal to 85% of the currently positive, are in isolation without symptoms or with mild symptoms.

Compared to yesterday, 88 died and bring the total to 33,689. The total number of those discharged and healed rises to 161,895, an increase of 957 people compared to yesterday.

In detail, there are currently 20,224 positive cases in Lombardy, 4,556 in Piedmont, 2,688 in Emilia-Romagna, 1,319 in Veneto, 883 in Tuscany, 394 in Liguria, 2,754 in Lazio, 1,303 in the Marche, 830 in Campania, 967 in Puglia, 207 in the Autonomous Province of Trento, 879 in Sicily, 213 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 704 in Abruzzo, 112 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, 31 in Umbria, 108 in Sardinia, 10 in Valle d'Aosta, 102 in Calabria, 125 in Molise and 20 in Basilicata.
