• Coronavirus Vaccine: Netherlands, Italy, Germany and France join forces

04 June 2020Italy will give almost 80 million euros for the new Covid Facility in Gavi, to accelerate the development of the Coronavirus vaccine. This was announced by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte at the 'Global vaccine summit', the summit on refinancing the Gavi alliance.

Conte also explained that Italy will give additional 120 million to support the commitment for Gavi's vaccines in the five year period 2021-2025 and a further 150 million up to 2030 for the IFFIm, which add up to the 137.5 already foreseen.
