Travel increased last week, and most of all, travel in Västerbotten and Norrbotten increased by 28% each, according to a press release from Telia. Last week's statistics show a steep rise in the Swedes' movement patterns.

- It clearly stands in the way. But if it is a trend break we see, we will not know until next week when we have more data, says Kristofer Ågren, head of Telia's data analysis department Data Insights to the national news at SVT.

The Swedes travel more all over the country, but most of all up north. Already on week 21, during Christ's Ascension Day, the Swedes began to move more and more.

- We see increased movement in all three regions, says Kristofer Ågren.

The statistics are based on movements of at least 500 meters, which is the distance between the masts in the mobile network. What has caused the Swedes, and especially the Norwegians, to move more at this moment cannot be determined.
