"It is probably a convenience factor, it only takes five minutes by car to the airport in Ängelholm," says Staffan Broddesson (C), chairman of the environmental committee in the municipality.

Robin Holmberg (M), chairman of the local council, says there are several explanations that they dominate business trips.

- It is smooth with the connection we have in Ängelholm, but to compensate for our flying we have signed an agreement with the airline regarding biofuel tickets which reduces emissions by 70 percent, he says.

County Administrative Board: "Are there other ways to work"

The County Administrative Board of Skåne, which projects the work on “A fossil fuel-free Skåne”, believes that the air travel for municipal employees in Ängelholm is numerous.

- Ängelholm municipality's solution is to pay for biofuel, says Eric Eliasson.

- Then probably the municipality should not stare blindly at that solution. Firstly, the municipalities should ask themselves how to get to Stockholm - and then trains are the first alternative, says Eric Eliasson.
