This is stated on the website of the General Prosecutor's Office.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation took control of verification activities in connection with the accidental spill of oil products at the industrial site of the Norilsk-Taimyr Energy Company,” the department said.

The Prosecutor General’s Office emphasized that the accident led to fuel getting into the soil and the nearest bodies of water - the Ambarnaya River, which supplies water to the residents of the Kayerkan Norilsk region, as well as into the lake and the Pyasino River, which flows into the Kara Sea.

Earlier it was reported that the emergency mode was introduced in Norilsk after a major spill of diesel fuel and a fire at TPP-3.

Ecologist Andrei Frolov, in an interview with Izvestia, commented on the situation with the spill of diesel fuel in Norilsk.
