Per Åke Sundelin was literally born into the role of land trader. He saw the light of day in the home next to the country store that bears the family name 81 years ago. Now he has hit the store again - at least temporarily.

- The Normans have closed the border. They are afraid that we will infect them.

The goods are still on the shelves, as they stood when the border was closed just over two and a half months ago.

- Yes they stand here waiting. We'll see when we can open again.

Significantly quieter than usual

The store is lonely and no longer has enough Swedish customers to be able to stay open when the Norwegians fail. Despite the solitary situation, a lot of traffic passes to the customs station a few hundred meters away. Now it is much quieter than usual.

- Of course, some freight transport and timber cars are understood.

But no private cars?

- No private cars it is worse with.
