Tuesday, at 6 p.m., on the Cours des 50-Otages, in Nantes, an intoxicated individual stabbed a victim who refused to give him a cigarette, police reports this Wednesday afternoon. He injured the victim twice on his left shoulder blade.

In a drunken state

The perpetrator managed to flee, but was chased and arrested by members of the Security Traffic Brigade in the city center. The man, 41 years old and of Tunisian nationality, was intoxicated (1.2 grams of alcohol in the blood).

The victim however refused to file a complaint and his transportation to the Nantes University Hospital. An investigation is underway.
