In August, the municipality was commissioned - together with the Linnaeus University - to develop a new plan for the campus in Växjö. Now the first plan has been approved by the municipal council's working committee, and there you want to see a campus that more clearly becomes an integral part of the city of Växjö.
Among other things, it is proposed that Teleborgsvägen be converted to city street. In addition, they want to build new student housing - mainly along Teleborgsvägen, but also PG Vejdes väg and at Tufvan.
The plan also presents a car-free university site, new parking and developed green spaces.
