June 03, 2020 The Municipality of Milan has revoked the order of May 26 that prohibited the sale of alcohol to take away after 19:30 and consumption in areas not relevant to bars and restaurants.

The mayor signed and published a revocation order tonight, considering that "citizenship has become more aware of the gathering ban" and that "citizens spontaneously avoid gatherings".

During the prohibition period - the Municipality specifies - only 8 fines were made and the local police, in a report, would have acknowledged the correct behavior of the Milanese also as regards the use of the mask.

For this reason, "the reasons for its adoption having ceased", with "immediate effect" the ban, which was issued just a week ago, now expires. The possibility of adopting new measures with the evolution of the epidemiological situation remains unaffected, concludes the text signed by the Mayor, Giuseppe Sala.
