It was confirmed today, Wednesday, that more than a third of the remaining matches of this season of the English Premier League football will be broadcasted free of charge live, after Amazon announced that it will allow fans to watch four games in each round without participation.

It is scheduled to resume the Premier League competitions without a public presence on June 17 after a long period of interruption due to the crisis of the new epidemic of the Coronavirus, and 33 of the remaining 92 games were confirmed free of charge.

"Like everyone in this country, we are excited about the return of the Premier League," Alex Green, managing director of Amazon Prime Video, said in comments to British media.

"We will allow all the other four games - which Amazon Prime has video rights to broadcast in the 2020/19 season - to watch for free, since fans will not need a paid membership to watch the matches through the service."

The British Daily Mail newspaper reported that Sky TV will broadcast 64 of the remaining games this season, of which 25 will be broadcast for free, while "BBC" will broadcast four games for free, which means that most of the games will be watched by the fans without subscription.
