“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on June 2, 29 forest fires on an area of 6637 ha were eliminated in Russia,” RIA Novosti quotes the agency.
The ministry said that nine forest fires are operating on the territory of the country on an area of more than 3 thousand hectares.
On the eve it became known about the elimination of 35 forest fires in Russia.
