A couple was arrested on May 27 in Marseille, suspected of having kidnapped a 93-year-old man, learned 20 Minutes from police sources, confirming information from La Provence. 

The facts go back to last April, in the 8th district of Marseille. By ruse, this couple would have managed to break into the home of their victim, whom they would then have threatened, strangled and tied. The couple is suspected of having stolen a computer and 140 euros in cash, before leaving the premises. The old man died on May 2. The suspects were notably identified thanks to DNA samples taken from his home.
