The streets appeared, Abu Dhabi _dbe and Abu Dhabi _alaan, as well as the main leading to the city of Al Dhafra roads, this morning, for the first time, completely free of vehicles, with the start of activation of the decision to ban the movement of people between the cities of three of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, as well as to and from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Police established 12 security points at the entrances and exits of the cities affiliated with the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in support of the national survey project to overcome the "Corona" virus, and implement the decision to prohibit the movement of individuals between the cities of the emirate as well as to and from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
She stressed that the ban on movement between the cities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is limited to preventing movement from one city to another only. As for moving between the interior regions of the same city, it is permitted taking into account the commitment to the national sterilization program according to the scheduled dates from ten in the evening until six in the morning.
She stressed that there is no exceptions in the application of the prohibition of movement, pointing out that the crisis and emergency management issued this decision to limit the spread of the corona virus, and everyone must bear for the benefit of society and cooperation in its implementation for a week.
He confirmed that the Abu Dhabi Police will be resolute in implementing the decision of movement ban, calling on individuals who work in the city and live in another city, to a commitment not mobility and stability in one city, within a week of movement ban, especially as staff time in the current period is not applied by one hundred per cent .
For its part, the Ministry of Interior provided the service of obtaining a federal movement permit to enable individuals to move during the period of national sterilization, as it gives them two options, the first being to obtain a permit within the emirate and the second to move through the various emirates.
On the other hand, Abu Dhabi Police announced the provision of permits to travel between the cities of Abu Dhabi and out of the emirate during the period of effective movement ban on June 2 for a week of "permit system Motion Abu Dhabi," the e-Abu Dhabi Police website, calling on the public to abide by the decisions issued by authorities competent and taking into account the specific timings of the national program of sterilization within the cities of the emirate.
The Committee for Emergency Management, Crises and Disasters resulting from the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi announced with the Abu Dhabi Police and the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi a ban on movement to and from the emirate and between its cities (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra) starting on Tuesday, June 2 for a week.
The prohibition includes all citizens of the emirate who are citizens and residents, and exceptions with a special permit are employees of vital sectors and owners of chronic diseases to review hospitals and the movement of transporting necessary goods, while residents of the emirate cities are allowed to move within their city during the times of the national sterilization program
and this comes to enhance the effectiveness of the national survey campaign and to limit the spread of a virus Covid-19, as a continuation of a series of preventive and precautionary measures to reduce contact and maintain the health and safety of community members.
