The corresponding order following the results of the meeting of the Presidium of the Coordinating Council is published on the government website.
“The Ministry of Health of Russia, together with senior officials of the Russian regions, will ensure the preservation of the reserve of a specialized bed fund created for the treatment of patients with new coronavirus infection in federal and regional medical organizations in the event of a resumption of an increase in the incidence of the population with this infection,” the report said.
In addition, it was entrusted with resolving the issue of forming an additional bed capacity in case of a new outbreak of infection.
The order must be completed by June 5, 2020.
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor published recommendations on the restoration of the profile activities of medical organizations redesigned to receive patients with coronavirus infection.
Prior to this, in the region, it is necessary to ensure the functioning of a sufficient bed capacity for the infection profile, as well as to create a reserve of personal protective equipment for personnel for three months of work.
