China News Service, Beijing, June 2 (Guo Chaokai, Lv Binghong) said on the 2nd from the Xi'an Satellite Measurement and Control Center that the 54th Beidou Navigation Satellite has completed on-orbit testing, network access evaluation and other work, and officially joined the network recently. The satellite access network helps improve the robustness of the Beidou system.

Since the 54th Beidou Navigation Satellite was launched into space on March 9, the Xi’an Satellite Measurement and Control Center conducted multi-batch control of the satellite according to the measurement and control plan, successfully fixed the satellite, and then carried out on-orbit testing on the satellite. The satellite was completed in April. The inter-link test project, and access to the inter-satellite link network, makes the Beidou-3 satellite more closely connected and more interconnected.

Luo Chunyan, an engineer at the Xi'an Satellite Measurement and Control Center, said: "According to the planned arrangement, we have completed 20 test tasks including the ranging accuracy of the 54th Beidou navigation satellite ranging, satellite-to-ground link building, and information routing, all of which meet the requirements."

At 19:55 on March 9th, Beijing time, China successfully launched the 54th navigation satellite of the Beidou system at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center using the Long March 3B carrier rocket. The satellite successfully enters the scheduled orbit, and will subsequently undergo orbit change, on-orbit testing, test evaluation, and provide services in time to access the network. In recent years, with the high-density launch of Beidou navigation satellites, the inter-satellite link building matrix has also been enriched, and the satellite connections have become increasingly close, effectively solving the problem of no telemetry reception monitoring, abnormal anomalies, and business inability after satellites leave the country Difficulties have improved the operational stability of the Beidou constellation.

It is understood that as the measurement and control management unit of Beidou Navigation Satellite, Xi'an Satellite Measurement and Control Center continuously summarizes the satellite management experience and standardizes the system. At the same time, in response to satellite interface and software upgrades, the center has completed nearly 50 batches of on-orbit software reconstruction for all Beidou navigation satellites in orbit. The anti-jamming and automatic control capabilities of the satellite have been continuously strengthened and automated intelligence To a new level. (Finish)
