It was the man himself who called the police at midnight and told me that there was a burglary in his home.
The two burglars and the homeowner ended up in a confrontation and the man was beaten with some form of affection.
After the abuse, the thieves stole the man's car and disappeared from the scene.
According to police, the man should not have needed hospital care after the abuse. During the day, the police will conduct an investigation into the home and the incident is classified as robbery.
At present there is no arrest for the act.
