In the lawsuit filed with the Kalmar District Court on Tuesday, it can be read that the accused man has had child pornographic material in his computers since the beginning of 2010. According to the prosecution, the accused man has spread the photos and videos containing documented sexual abuse against children.

Chamber Prosecutor Emelie Källfelt believes that the crime should be assessed as serious because it formed part of a criminal activity that has been carried out systematically and to a greater extent - and that a large number of the images show young children exposed to violence or coercion and exploited in a particularly ruthless manner.

The total playing time of the films is over 1,600 hours.

The man was arrested in early February and has been detained since the seventh of February.
