The Socialist Party and the Greens together again in Paris. While the municipal candidates have until Tuesday evening to deposit their lists, that of the mayor PS Anne Hidalgo (Paris in common) and the Greens led by David Belliard announced that they had found a coalition agreement for the second round on June 28.

"We found an agreement on the three themes on which we have been working for several days: the project, governance and the lists," the mayor's campaign director Emmanuel Grégoire told AFP. "We had an ecological and social project and we knew that a coalition was necessary. We are doing it today with Anne Hidalgo," said David Belliard in an interview with Le Parisien.

A town hall for environmentalists

Environmentalists "asked to have a town hall after June 28", "we said yes and we will discuss it," added Emmanuel Grégoire. In addition, "it was a question that David Belliard enters the executive, if he wishes, it is up to him to express it," he added. "There will be at least one green town hall during the next term if the voters trust us to manage Paris. At this time, I cannot tell you which one yet, but if we win the election, the environmentalists will be involved in the governance of the capital at all levels, and I am delighted, "confirmed Mr. Belliard to the Parisian.

"I am satisfied that we share with Anne Hidalgo's teams a large part of the diagnosis, on the need to 'dedensify' the capital or to strengthen solidarity in particular," he added.

On urban development projects or the question of the place of advertising in Paris, "we have managed to find many important compromises", he stressed.

"The Bercy-Charenton project (12th century) will be overhauled: the new project, which remains to be discussed, will be the subject of citizen consultation. We are committed to ensuring that it includes the creation of a third wood In Paris, on the Ménilmontant TEP and on the Ordener wasteland, we have obtained guarantees to overhaul these projects with the aim of preserving or increasing the share of parks and gardens, "said Mr. Belliard.

"There has been good progress, this is good news", rejoiced Julien Bayou, the national secretary of EELV, at the microphone of Sud Radio.
