The artwork List has been accidentally damaged. The artwork was hit by a ski lift in connection with facade work on a property in the area. The municipality has set up fences around that monument and will probably mount it down and then be able to restore it.
"We want to restore it as good as new as soon as possible," says Lasse Sahlin, who is the deputy head of culture at Umeå municipality.
The red cougar, which symbolizes a stance against sexual harassment, was installed in October 2019.
