Umm Al Quwain Executive Council issued a circular regarding the gradual return of employees in government departments in the emirate by 50% to 70%, and gradually increasing based on developments, with the need to adhere to intensive preventive and precautionary measures.

The circular provided for the exclusion of a number of groups from returning to workplaces and the application of the remote work system in emergency cases. The exception includes pregnant employees, people of determination, those with chronic diseases, immune deficiencies and respiratory diseases, and employees of the age group “60 years and over”.

Exceptions also include employees who care for their children from the ninth grade or less "until the end of the school year", and those who have children in foster homes or take care of at home and mothers who care for their children whose health condition requires permanent care under emergency conditions.

The employees who live with the groups most at risk of health hazards in the same housing and who have direct contact with them, such as the elderly people over the age of 60 and those with determination, and those who suffer from chronic diseases or weak immunity are excluded.

And the suspension of work with fingerprint devices continues to prove attendance and leave, with an obligation to prove attendance and leave through the smart application of all categories of employees, whether working at workplaces or employees of the remote work system.
