France still loosening containment measures
In France, phase 2 of the deconfination has begun today which eases the lockdown further, reopening a series of commercial activities and providing further freedom of movement, but not yet being a return to normal. More important restrictions remain in three so-called "orange zones", namely Ile de France, Guyana and Mayotte. Among the most important deconfination measures there is the lifting of the ban on leaving the residence beyond 100 km in the national territory. Trains and planes can be taken, but only with a mask from the age of 11. However, travel to cases of necessity from air France to Corsica and other overseas territories remains limited. There is still an obligation to wear a mask in taxis and public transport, during rush hour you can use transport only for journeys to the workplace, school and for medical needs. The borders remain closed, but there is reason for a reopening in the Schengen area for June 15th. Further on for non-Schengen countries. Parks, woods, beaches, lakes, museums, monuments and zoos are open. For some of these attractions you must wear a mask. Casinos with a mask also reopen and only for the single game with machines. Public gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited and will be at least until June 21st. The big events with more than 5 thousand spectators will not be possible at least until August 31st. The discos and dance halls remain closed, while bars and cafes in the green areas (and not in the orange ones) have been able to reopen from today, but respecting the rules, including a maximum of 10 people at the table, a distance of one meter between the different groups, seats exclusively, and mandatory masks.
