The Grimp's firefighters evacuate to the cove of Saména. - BMPM

  • A 15-year-old young man fell heavily in the cove of Samena, near Marseille.
  • His vital prognosis is on.

A young man of about fifteen made a heavy fall in a cove of Marseille, this Tuesday afternoon. He tried to climb a rock wall without suitable equipment. He fell on the beach three or four meters high.

When the firefighters arrived, around 2 p.m., the young man "was semi-conscious and wandering", according to a spokesman for the firefighters. The doctor suspects a heavy head trauma. It took about an hour and a half to evacuate it, since the calanque of Saména is located about 20 meters below the level of the road.

Specialized firefighters from the Perilous Research and Intervention Group (Grimp) evacuated him lying on a stretcher, "to preserve the head-neck-trunk axis", specifies their spokesperson. His vital prognosis is on. He was placed in intensive care at the Timone hospital.
