Since Saturday afternoon, she has disappeared. Emma Alfarela, 16, left her grandparents' home, where she lives in Forbach, and has never returned. The teenager was last seen at the bus stop at the total service station, still in this small town in Moselle.

The girl, who is 1.60 m tall and has medium brown hair, wore red sneakers, a dark sweatpants and a pink backpack. Forbach police, who have called for witnesses, say that Emma Alfarela suffers from "mild mental retardation".
