According to him, the outbreak was recorded in the region of the city of Mbandaki.
“The DRC Ministry of Health has identified six cases of the disease, including four deaths,” the head of WHO wrote on Twitter.
He said that the organization’s employees are in Mbandaka "to help combat the new Ebola outbreak."
“The country is in the final stages of the fight against Ebola in the eastern part, as well as with COVID19 and the world's largest measles outbreak,” he added.
