Crew Dragon, with two NASA astronauts, settled at ISS, the International Space Station, at 11:16 pm yesterday.

We were docked with the International Space Station less than 19 hours after it was launched at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida at 4:22 am yesterday.

Docking was done smoothly automatically.

[Douglas Hurley / NASA Astronaut: We are delighted that the launch of the manned spacecraft in the United States has resumed. I am honored to be able to board this wonderful space station.]

Two astronauts will stay on the International Space Station floating over 400km for a short period of one month and a long period of four months to complete their research missions.

NASA hasn't decided how long astronauts will stay.

Crew Dragons can stay on track for at least 210 days.

This is the first time that a manned spacecraft has docked at the International Space Station since 2011.

Elon Musk, who founded SpaceX as CEO of Tesla, an electric vehicle company, is also pursuing a trip to the Moon and Mars following the launch of the Crew Dragon.
