She noted that Trump had a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Justice.
“There will be additional federal forces that will be deployed in the country,” RIA Novosti quoted Macianini as saying.
According to her, a “single center of defense” will be created, which will work with state and municipal authorities.
The White House also called on governors to engage the National Guard more in suppressing riots.
“Governors across the country should act, deploy the National Guard as necessary, and protect American cities,” she said.
Macianini noted that the White House will not tolerate violence during protests.
