Protests that began as a result of the death of a black man during the coercive arrest of a white policeman are spreading across the United States. It was in Minneapolis, in the middle of the United States, and as you can see from the protests that started here, it spread across the United States to 140 cities in six days. In the process, some protesters robbed shops and set fires, and 5,000 guards from 15 states were put in place, and even 40 cities were issued with a curfew. It is the first time in the United States that many cities have banned passage since 1968, when African American human rights activist Martin Luther King was assassinated.

Take a look at the report of Correspondent Kim Yun-soo, and we will connect to Washington right away to hear more.

Late at night, the square behind the White House was in flames.

Grenades are fired here and there, and the police are battling down to become Asura chiefs.

Excited protesters also plundered shops all over Washington, DC.

[Washington Regional Broadcasting: You are watching a looting scene. It's a Continental wine shop across the street, people smashing the front door ... .] In

the turmoil just behind the White House, President Trump was reportedly evacuated to an underground bunker for about an hour.

In New York and Los Angeles, thousands of citizens were pouring into the streets, protesting against Floyd's death, followed by looting and arson throughout the city.

President Trump said he would point to the "left" anti-left and designate it as a terrorist organization.

[O'Brien / White House National Security Adviser: 'Antipa' is the main demonstration. The protests in Seattle, Portland and Berkeley were all like that. 'Antipa' is a radical and destructive force.]

However, in some protest scenes, the police mourned Floyd's death, kneeling toward the protesters in protest against racism.

At another scene, police were marching alongside protesters.

Correspondent Yoon-Soo Kim, the time there must have been just over 7 o'clock in the morning, but you can see the letters that the protesters used to see, and the protests have faded now?

<Reporter>

Lafayette Square behind the White House where protests were intense last night.

The place you see behind is where the protesters set fire last night, but the firefighters are still working on cleaning up the lights without extinguishing it.

Protesters disbanded all in the morning.

Right. President Trump's words and the way he responded to the protests made the situation worse, and there were criticisms. In the previous report, President Trump now analyzed the background behind the protests in the extreme left, like this. Is that true?

<Reporter>

Yes, this 'antipa' can be seen as an abbreviation of anti-fascist against far-right fascist.

I think it would be better to see it as a conceptual word rather than as an actual organization.

So it seems that President Trump has decided to designate an anti-terrorist organization as an anti-terrorist organization.

It seems to have this intention, driving to the extreme camp logic, identifying forces against them as terrorist organizations, and consolidating the supportive conservative right wing by the reaction.

Anyway, black people don't shoot me, I think there will be a ticket calculation like this.

The president is stimulating the protests rather than calming them down, so the person who is in charge of the public affairs please shut up.

Listen to it.

[Keisha Lance Bottoms / Mayor of the United States: President Trump only makes things worse. Sometimes it's better to be quiet, and I want President Trump to be quiet.]

When you hear of this, you might be worried if your family or the people around you are now in the United States. Have you noticed anything?

<Reporter> According to the

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 26 cases of damage to Korean shops have been reported.

I've spoken directly to a local in the Minneapolis area where the store was damaged, so let's listen.

[Ahn Dae-sik / Minneapolis Citizen: (The place I went to) was burned down. Part of it, part of the mall. Even though the second shop was completely blocked by plywood, the

damage was continued in Los Angeles and Atlanta, etc., but it seems that it is not a situation where only Korean shops are selected and plundered.

This protest could be a catalyst for the re-proliferation of Corona 19.

<Reporter>

Yes, when I saw them at the protest site yesterday, most of the demonstrators wore masks, but I was really concerned about splash infection because they were so close and crying for relief.

If you shoot tear gas, you will be more worried because tears and runny nose will come out.

Each state government is asking the demonstrators to wear a mask and be tested after participating in the protests.
