“We strongly recommend that Russian citizens who are permanently or temporarily in the United States strictly abide by the authorities’s orders and avoid being in crowded protesters or traveling to cities in atrocities,” the embassy said on a Facebook page.
In case of incidents with Russians, citizens are advised to contact the consular department of the embassy.
Earlier, American media reported that US President Donald Trump at a teleconference with state governors urged them to act harder with protesters.
The White House said that US authorities will send additional forces to suppress riots in the country's cities.
