Since Monday, general co-ownership meetings can be organized by videoconference. At a time when many French people have tasted the joys of teleworking and video aperitif, the trustees try the experience in their turn.

Apartment owners have probably not yet been able to participate in their general meeting of co-owners. Usually organized in May, these meetings were prevented by the coronavirus. Since Monday, the trustees have the right to organize dematerialized meetings.

These dematerialized "GA" respond to the same principle as the work meeting or aperitif during confinement. You just have to master tools like "Teams" or "Zoom". "Some were stressed because it was new to them," said Muriel Trichasson, who attended one of these meetings.

"Fewer comments and gossip"

As of last week, Muriel Trichasson proposed an online general meeting at one of her condominiums in Rennes. "We explained to them, when they arrived at the GA, that they could leave their microphone open while they said 'hello' but that afterwards they could mute the microphones to avoid noise." it, drawing a rather positive assessment of the experience. "I think it was more effective. People did not cut themselves off as they usually do when they are side by side in the room. We have a little less small comments and gossip."
