One phone dominates Finland's sales lists - sales of another hit device have grown "up to hundreds of percent per month"

Samsung's new Galaxy A40 phone has risen to the top of the sales lists of Finnish telecom operators. The phone model, which costs about 180 euros, became the best-selling consumer phone for DNA, Elisa and Telia.

Apple’s new “cheap model” iPhone SE also hit the sales charts. Sami Aavikko, CEO of DNA Kauppa, said in a press release that its customers came especially from older iPhone SE and iPhone 6 users.

According to DNA, sales of smartwatches have also grown “up to hundreds of percent per month throughout the spring”. The popularity of these is explained by the fitness spike brought by the corona insulation as well as the fact that a lot of smart watches were given as gifts. The best-selling smart watches were Apple’s Series 3 and Series 5 devices and the Huawein GT 2.

Elisa’s list was also dominated by Samsung and Apple. Ville Valkama, Business Director of Elisa's retail customers, commented in the press release that the best-performing devices on the list were under EUR 400.
