▲ Launched 'Gaofun' No. 9 satellite in China and 'Hudder' No. 4 satellite


On the 31st of last month, when the first US manned spacecraft was launched, China also successfully launched a rocket equipped with two satellites.

According to Chinese media such as the Global Times and Central China (CC) TV on the 1st, China is at the satellite launching center of Gaofen No. 9 02 at the satellite launch center in Gansu Province at 4:53 pm (local time) the previous day. (和 德) Satellite 4 has been launched into orbit.

Gaofun 9 02 is a high resolution earth observation satellite that can provide photos with a resolution of less than 1m.

China plans to use this satellite to support construction of 'one-to-one roads (land and sea silk roads)', including land surveys, urban planning, and road network design.

Hudder 4 is manufactured by Beijing Hudder Space Flight Technology Co., Ltd. It is capable of collecting information on global navigation of ships and aircraft and information on the Internet of Things (IOT).

The Changchun No. 2 Ding transport rocket was used for the launch, and it is the 333rd launch using the Changchun series rocket.

The launch was also the success of SpaceX's first privately-owned spacecraft, the Crew Dragon, launched successfully on March 31st at 3:22 am (30:03 pm Eastern Time).

China, which is in the process of launching a spacecraft, plans to launch its first Mars probe in July-August, following the first landing of a probe on the back of the moon in January of last year.
