Candidates for the second round of municipal elections have until Tuesday evening to deposit their lists. Less than a month before the poll postponed to June 28 due to the coronavirus, attempts at rapprochement and alliances have multiplied in recent days, with more or less success. The next few hours will be decisive in several cities.

But on the side of the outgoing mayor who came first in the first round, things are moving. Anne Hidalgo is still trying to reach an agreement with the environmentalist David Belliard.

After the stab of Gérard Collomb in Lyon and his alliance with the right, the camp of Emmanuel Macron can at least hope to finish well placed in Bordeaux. A rapprochement between the outgoing LR mayor Nicolas Florian and the LREM candidate Thomas Cazenave is under discussion.

On the left, all eyes are on Marseille. The left has gathered and it has a chance to take the second city of France in front of the LR Martine Vassal.

At the National Gathering, the conquest of Perpignan is in everyone's mind . Louis Aliot won more than 35% of the votes in this city of 100,000 inhabitants in the first round, but he will have to face a republican front, formed by his opponents.
