“To date, according to monitoring, there is no shortage of PPE in the regions,” said Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Fisenko.

It is also noted that in medical organizations from April 17, from the moment monitoring began, to May 31, an increase in personal protective equipment stocks is recorded.

The press service of the department emphasized that providing medical personnel with personal protective equipment is a direct responsibility of the heads of medical organizations.

The Ministry of Health added that if personal protective equipment is not enough, medical workers can contact the territorial bodies of Roszdravnadzor.

Earlier media reported that the expert group, which included doctors, medical experts and heads of charitable foundations, appealed to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova and the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko with a request to take measures in connection with the shortage of personal protective equipment for doctors.
