The fire started around 10:30 am. A major fire has devastated since Monday morning the premises of the company Léa composites, in the municipality of La Gravelle (Mayenne), between Laval and Vitré, reports the prefecture of Mayenne. Nearly a hundred firefighters are mobilized to try to extinguish the flames. The damage is significant. Smoke is visible more than 20 kilometers around.

An employee was slightly injured and taken to hospital, according to Ouest-France . Traffic on the neighboring RD 57 was temporarily cut off. However, the nearby A 81 motorway is not disturbed.

Léa composites is a company specializing in the manufacture of polyester shell pools (Alliance pools and Prestige polyester pools).
