Already this afternoon Niklas Arell joins his new club. In addition to Malmö, he has also played for Färjestad and Karlskrona.

Sports manager Johan Hult describes Arell as a physique strong back who likes to tackle and is useful in both defensive zone and in the attacking game.

- He has a very good shot and a great attitude to hockey, says Hult.

- I am very impressed with how HV71 works both on and off the ice and when they showed an interest in me, the choice was not difficult. HV71 is a top club that is hungry to win and an association where everyone does their utmost to achieve success and I look forward to being part of it, says Niklas Arell in a press release. He has now signed a one-year contract with HV.
