01 June 2020The Formula 1 Monza Grand Prix will be held regularly on 6 September, despite the coronavirus emergency: confirmation came from the mayor of the Brianza city, Dario Allevi, who also reported that Liberty Media has prolonged a year the agreement with the Lombard racetrack which therefore will continue to host Formula 1 at least until 2025.

"The president of Aci Italia, Angelo Sticchi Damiani, confirmed to me that the Italian Grand Prix will be held behind closed doors", explained Allevi in ​​a video conference on social media with citizens, "while many circuits had to give up because of the Health emergency, Monza will be there, albeit behind closed doors, and Formula 1 has decided to extend the contract we have just entered into with our racetrack by one year: the racing cars will continue to speed through the temple of speed at least until 2025 ".
