01 June 2020 The number of people infected with Coronavirus in Lombardy is clearly slowing down. Today, 50 new positive cases and 19 deaths have been reported. In total, 89,018 positives and 16,131 deaths since the start of the pandemic. However, the swabs made were 'only' 3,572 (757,446 in total), with a positive found ratio of 1.4%.

The currently positive drops of 135 units to 20,861, the recovered / discharged were 166 (52,026). This is the picture that emerges from the daily data released by the Lombardy Region. Yesterday there had been 210 new cases and 33 deaths. 167 ICU patients (three less than yesterday) and 3,085 those in other wards (-46).

The cases per provincewith the difference compared to yesterday: Milan 23,094 (+18) of which 9,796 (+8) in Milan city; Bergamo 13.374 (+8); Brescia 14,774 (+6); Como 3,854 (+1); Cremona 6,461 (+2); Lecco 2,745 (+2); Lauds 3,474; Mantua 3,357; Monza and Brianza 5,521 (+3); Pavia 5,339 (+1); Sondrio 1,464 (+1) and Varese 3,622 (+3).
