Stefan Löfven had mentioned a commission of inquiry at the end of the epidemic, so as not to interfere with the health emergency. But he had to give in under pressure from the opposition, left and right combined.

Because in recent weeks, the consensus on the fight against the coronavirus is cracking. Swedes begin to demonstrate in the streets. The polls are at half mast, and it is the political parties, now, who are rebelling.

From this summer, this commission will therefore analyze the way in which the crisis has been managed. With its successes, such as leaving the schools open and preserving the economy. But also with its failures, and among them this mortality rate which continues to climb and has now joined that of France.

One of the causes could be the non-containment of the population , but also the way in which the elderly, who often died in a retirement home, were treated without having been admitted to hospital.
