An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 was fixed off the coast of Kamchatka

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

“A seismic event of magnitude 5.0 occurred on Tuesday morning local time,” the spokesman said.

It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of almost 30 km 140 km south of the village of Ust-Kamchatsk in the Ust-Kamchatka region of the Kamchatka Territory.

On May 17, it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was recorded in the Ust-Bolsheretsky district of the Kamchatka Territory.
