On May 27, the Dordogne gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses after the disappearance the day before of an 82-year-old man suffering from memory impairment. He had left his home in Saint-Front-de-Pradoux, gone to the mushrooms, and had not given any news since.
The soldiers announced that more than four days after his disappearance, Michel had been found in good health, before being transported to the hospital for examinations of controls this Saturday.
It is one of the daughters of this former soldier who found his trace, in a ditch located a few hundred meters from his house, at the edge of the forest, France Bleu Périgord report. She first found some of her clothes, folded, before seeing her father. The latter neither ate nor drank for four days and nights under the stars.
Means had been deployed to find him, and the old man said that he had heard the dogs pass by.
