Pentecost did not appease the (more or less holy) minds of Marseilles women and politicians. This weekend of intense negotiations gives birth to a mouse for the right. She remains disunited for the second round, which will take place on June 28. Admittedly, Martine Vassal (Les Républicains) supports her rival Bruno Gilles (DVD) in the 4th and 5th arrondissement… But it is because her candidate has not reached the 10% mark there.

As for Bruno Gilles, he discovered this weekend that one of his head of lists had decided, behind his back, to rally Martine Vassal in the 6th and 8th arrondissements. "Treason," said the senator. Martine Vassal obtained the support of Ludovic Perney without him consulting Bruno Gilles. "We almost fell from the tree," we laugh in the entourage of the candidate, who also denounces negotiations full of "stinking balls." "

Quadrangulars in sight

This Monday, the senator who left the Republicans therefore confirmed that his head of the list Robert Assante remained in the 11 and 12th arrondissement. And too bad if the probable quadrangular with the left and the National Gathering makes lose the candidate on the right pro-Vassal Julien Ravier, arrived at the head in the first round? "Neither extremes, nor system," insists Bruno Gilles.

In reaction, the candidate of Martine Vassal Solange Biaggi should maintain her list unchanged in the 2nd and 3rd arrondissements, where we are heading towards another quadrangular between LR, a diverse candidate on the right, the National Gathering and the Left. It should benefit the candidate of the Printemps de Marseille Benoît Payan.

The left still in discussions

At the time of writing, negotiations are continuing on the left in the 15th and 16th arrondissements. Jean-Marc Coppola, from Printemps Marseille and Samia Ghali (ex PS) have not yet reached an agreement.
